I am thrilled with the work Poole’s provided. Sharon met with us to develop a complete architectural landscape plan for our yard(a little less than an acre) including a stonework walk, a water feature and a complete variety of plants and placement based on our personal specifications. We asked for a low-maintenance but interesting landscape and we loved the variety and beauty of the plants, shrubs and trees she chose. The plan also included phases so we did not have to commit to the entire plan all at once. Prior to implementation, Sharon sent photos of the plants we were not familiar with and also included information on their care. I felt confident she knew what we wanted and did an excellent job of meeting our expectations.
The team that implemented the plan was efficient, hard working and extremely respectful. The plants were delivered on the morning indicated and Poole’s worked with at least 3 providers to get exactly the plants we agreed upon. At the completion of the project, everything was pristine, from the lay of the mulch to the spotless walks and driveway.
I would highly recommend Poole’s. They are extremely knowledgeable, very easy and pleasant to work with and go to great lengths to meet their commitments. They exceeded our expectations.

Our project included installation of an 8′ x 12′ pergola to support an existing 20-year old wisteria, a stone retaining wall and fire pit, and trees and plants to complete the landscaping. From design (Sharon Poole) to installation (Bruce Poole and team), the project exceeded our expectations, was completed on time and on budget. This is landscape artistry at it’s finest. Husband-wife business owners work harmoniously as a team. Sharon designs uniquely individual landscape plans to scale, and Bruce masterfully executes them with the help of highly skilled, experienced and well-mannered employees who have been with the company for many years. Listening to the customer’s ideas and incorporating them thoughtfully into the vision is a company strong point. Poole’s Stone and Garden installed a circular, irregular stone flagstone patio and stone steps to my backyard deck. Sharon visited my home and listened to what I had wanted and created a beautiful plan for my garden patio with connecting stone steps. It was exactly what I had envisioned and has become my favorite garden oasis. The workmanship was excellent and I was completely satisfied.

Over the years I have worked with several Landscape companies. Some finished products proved successful, others after a few years growth had to be redone. I have always dreaded trying out a new company. I always get the feeling my projects are too little and not worth their time. I was looking to improve my curb appeal since I am putting the house on the market in a year or so. I knew Poole’s had done work for a neighbor and asked them to quote the job. Again, part of what I was asking them to do had already been done before to my dissatisfaction. After several attempts to connect with them (they are in high demand) someone came out to give me ideas and quote the job. They installed two beds on the side of my home, a flagstone walkway and reworked the front bed of my home. I could not be happier. The owner nailed it. I was at first skeptical about her suggestions (again, worrying about things getting overgrown) but I am completely satisfied. I think it was well worth the price and has added to the value of my home.
